September #BookBlogWalkers

I have found my new favorite thing in the world! #BookBlogWalkers.  Currently I have been dieting and exercising a storm up, I have a fitbit, and I'm doing AWESOME.  So in my blog hopping travels I have found a new adventure.

Leave me a message or comment if you'd like me to add you to my fitbit friends so I can cheer you on!

I can't really post time, as I walk and am on my feet, ALL day, I can average from 3k steps-6k steps on any given day, so my goal lately has been to reach 10,000 steps or more, EVERY day, between work, and outside of work, it's been easier for me that way, so I'd like to continue doing this.

I will use this post as a main post to update my September progress, I may post weekly posts as she's doing Friday updates, but this will be my overall post I think.  I'm not sure yet, I'm new at this, gotta find my rhythm!

My Thoughts for week TWO:  My grandmothers funeral was Monday, I had bereavement days at work, so Monday and Tuesday was just blah for me.  Went back to work Wednesday, and I work with old people, who had the same health problems as my grandmother, so I kinda sank into this funk.  Next week I will do better, I promise myself.

Goal: 40,000 Steps- failed

My thoughts for week THREE: I suck.  I know this.  I did so awful this week, I didn't attempt to do anything in the evenings.  I think its a lot of things, 1) it rained every afternoon, like storms with lightning and stuff and walking to my gym woulda killed me 2) I'm in a depression slump 3) work was really exhausting this week, most of the time I came home and sacked out 4) laziness.   I have excuses up the wahoo, but nothing really legit for me not taking care of myself.  I still took a lot of steps, but they were all work related, I can do so much better than this.

Week 4 Sept 20-26:

Miles:1.44
Sunday:
Steps:1083

Friday:
Steps:9661
Miles:4.03

Total Steps:34966
Total Miles:14.42

Goal:40,000 Steps- Fail

Thoughs about this week: This week much like the last couple were awful for me, I just can't get into it.  Plus I took a huge much needed break from reading, and got involved in the Son's of Anarchy show, which I've basically gone through 4 seasons in a few days, so walking isn't so great, the last few days were super busy though at work I almost walked my goal at work!  it was awesome.

  1. Way to go! I have a Fitbit that I wear everywhere, but I still find it difficult to get in steps during the work week. There are days where I will barely break 2,000 steps; those are also the days I don't want to remember because it means work was awful. I hope you can get into a good rhythm and meet your goals!

    1. Being on my feet all day is definitely taxing, good for the fitness and weight loss but exhausting

  5. I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother!

I have a fitbit and love it! It really helps me in getting those steps in. I put it on first thing in the morning and wear it all day long. My goal is to get at least 10,000 steps M-F and at least 5,000 steps on the weekends, which are my rest days. I would love to be fitbit friends if you want.
