It's Monday, What Are You Reading? #3

This meme is hosted by Book Journey.

This week I didn't slow down at all, I had two days off work where I read some books, worked on some blogs, and basically avoided life.  Once I went back to work the reading slowed a bit, but I still tried to do as much as I could.  I started on a TBR Read-A-Thon on monday, so my books have been geared for that.  I've spent a lot of time updating my goodreads so I have a better idea of books I own, what to read, and books I need to get.  So I am a little more organized right now, and much happier for it.

For this coming week:
I am part of a TBR Read-a-thon, so most of it is stuff that's on my TBR pile, I can't plan it, cause it won't work out for me.  I need to get a few books for NetGalley read and reviewed, I have no set list right now

I do know however, I will be reading this after Blood..as a part of my September Random Reads:

for audiobook:

  1. I need to look into the Hollows series, the cover alone of that book has me sold. I am so easily seduced. ;-)

  2. You are doing well with your TBR readathon. Never mind about last week not being so good for walking - this week a new week and every step counts!
Yes Goodreads is helpful when you have all your books on it, sometimes I use it to help me remember whether I have read a book or not!!

  7. I did not realize there were a few I Hunt Killers prequels. I've got the first two books. Updating Goodreads is a chore, but feels good to get it done! Have a great week.

  8. That's great that you're working on your TBR list. And there's nothing like a couple of days off and just retreating into your bookish haven for a while. The cover of Envy looks creepy as heck, and I've seen Incarnate floating around a bit.

  12. Eleven books is a week is just amazing! I can do a book a day when I'm on summer vacation but during the school year my best is 4 books a week. I used my summer vacation to get a bunch of reviews scheduled. My review of Festive in Death won't show up on my blog until October. I have reviewed it on GoodReads and Amazon already, though. I liked it a lot. Happy reading!

  13. I loved Barry Lyga's I Hunt Killers, but I haven't kept up with the series. I knew Game was out, but it looks like I've even further behind.

  17. Huge reading week for you, I used to read fast but snail pace is more the go these days lol. Great mix of books, I've only read the 1st book in the Hollows series ... must get back to it. I sent you a fitbit friend request, using the email contact you have on this book blog ... hope that's right?
Have a great week and enjoy your new reads :)

  19. My work eats a lot of time too but I make sure to have reading time during day-offs. :) And you have interesting titles there! Happy reading! :)

  20. Good for you for getting more organized! You read quite an impressive amount! I think I'm kind of a turtle in comparison with a lot of book bloggers . . . slow and steady. ) Have a good week!

  21. I always feel better when I'm organized, too! I'm doing a TBR challenge this year but I haven't made much of a dent yet. I;m in too many book groups so always borrowing new books from the library when my shelves are already full!

I need to read the rest of the Dustlands series - #2 and #3 are two of the many books on my TBR shelf.

    Enjoy your books this week!

  24. Oh, such great a great week! Lots of great books read, and some really great ones coming up! I hope you enjoy, and enjoyed, them! Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!

  25. First of all, you are a reading superstar! That is so many books in one week! Did you start them all this week, too?

I read Incarnate a couple years ago, but I am trying to remember if I finished it or abandoned it. I loved the first half but when she got to the city I got bored, I still haven't figured out why because that first half has stuck with me.
